Protect your investment with simple carpet care and save money

Updated: Oct 24, 2022

As we know putting carpet in your home isn’t cheap and yet after a few months most of us are guilty of forgetting the price of the carpets and how long it takes to save up and buy them.

The way you treat your carpets will determine how long they will last. I’m not saying you must have your carpets professionally cleaned every month or even every year, that decision is almost made by the way you look after them.

If you want to protect your investment I would always look at buying some nice slippers for the home, that way your not bringing in the grease and dirt bacteria, and any other nasty grime that you don’t want in your carpet.

Not everyone owns one but I always use a rotating brush vacuum cleaner, when using this method of vacuuming, the brushes separate the carpet fibres which makes it easier to lift the dirt out and it lifts the carpet pile at the same time, this method of vacuuming really makes a difference in keeping the carpet clean and fresh.

Everyone seems to think that only Carpet Cleaning or Upholstery Cleaning companies can put stain block or stain guard on carpets, anyone can its very simple you can get it from ebay or any online shop it comes in a spray if you wish, for a small amount of money compared to the cost of the carpet why not spray all your carpets once a year with this product and in the areas that get more use read the recommended repeat application cycle and follow it, this will help to prevent a lot of unwanted stains happening

These small steps will help your carpet last and look better for that much longer and save you money in the long run but if you would prefer you can alway phone me to get you carpets cleaned with our Dry organic carpet cleaning system or our low moisuter Upholstery cleanig system, we cover a 25 mile Radious starting from Fleet In Hampshire
